Things I Love: Etsy Edition

I love that writing for DCL Prep School puts me in a place in the Disney community where I get to meet fantastic Disney-loving people everyday. And Disney-inspired crafters are some of the best folks. They take their love of Disney and turn it into art. Full disclosure statement below.

Dearly Loved

Dearly Loved – headed by crafter Lyn Maszk – is an Etsy shop filled with the most wonderful, Disney-inspired scents I have ever smelled. Lyn sent me a few samples about a month ago, and I know why she is one of the favorite shops of over 1,000 Etsy shoppers.

Knowing how much I love cruising with Disney, she let me sample the Alaskan Adventure, Castaway and Towel Animal tarts. Wow. I love candles, but I am particular. Alaskan Adventure is a pine scented fragrance that actually smells like pine. Not fake pine. Real pine. Towel Animals smelled like freshly laundered towels and Castaway, well I don’t know what is smelled like, but it was yummy!

The Dearly Loved collection has character-inspired, attraction-inspired and movie-inspired scents as well. These make great gifts, stocking stuffers or fish exchange gifts.

Disclosure: I was provided with free samples of the Dearly Loved tarts. My opinions are my own.

Crochet4Cali

Crochet4Cali is an Etsy shop near and dear to my heart. I have no problem with a healthy dose of nepotism, as this shop is headed by my multi-talented cousin, Kimberly Smith. You have seen her daughter featured in my family reunion posts.

Kimberly expertly crafts Disney-inspired crochet pieces that will make your hear melt. She also takes special requests!

Gradysmommy

I first discovered Gradysmommy before my very first Disney cruise. I needed a fish extender, and Tiffany’s work called to me.

I have no reservation recommending her work, as my fish extenders look just as good today as they did almost four years ago.

If you look close at the cutie in the middle, that’s Cali (yes, of Crochet4Cali), posing with a Fish Extender from Gradysmommy. My cousin and I had no idea that we had both bought fish extenders from the same Etsy crafter… proving that families often do think alike! What a happy and totally unexpected coincidence. It is a small world after all.

TheRabbitsHoleShop

I found The Rabbits Hole Shop when I needed to buy a few more fish extenders for my family reunion cruise. I was drawn to her work because I knew my nieces would love the faux chalkboard at the top of the fish extender. She also has a unique, yet classic, esthetic which I adore.

Full Disclosure Statement: I have not been paid to promote, nor do I receive a portion of any profits from sales/clicks generated from this post. Fish extenders were purchased with my own money. I only approached crafters about featuring their work after I was a happy customer, with the exception of Dearly Loved. I was provided with samples of Dearly Loved products which I happily agreed to review here. All opinions are my own.
