From packing cubes to luggage, it takes a lot of gear to pack a family for a vacation at sea.
Packing Cubes: I will never travel without these again. Ever! These are the two types of cubes I personally own. I have two sets of each. While I love the versatility – and the great value – of the multi-colored sets, the clear set is fantastic for carting home damp swimsuits and coverups from your pool-side and oceanfront adventures.
American Tourister is the official luggage of Walt Disney World. I have had an American Tourister set since last Thanksgiving, and I have traveled to the beach, Walt Disney World and on a Disney Cruise Line voyage with it. It travels great, and the spinning wheels make for easy rolling, which is key if you have to walk long distances with luggage in tow.
We also invested in a small set of Samsonite hardside luggage similar to this set. I prefer the soft side luggage for road trips and the hardside pieces for air travel. (Have you seen those baggage handlers toss a full size suitcase like it’s nothing?
Cameras and Photo Books
When it comes to cameras, I know enough to know that I am no expert. I do know that more than any souvenir, you will want to preserve the memories of your Disney cruise vacation! Amazon has one of the largest selections of cameras at every price point.
Scrapbook supplies make it simple to preserve your priceless memories. Be sure to load up on these before you cruise, so that they are ready to be used when you get home.
PRIME DAY DEAL ALERT
eBooks & Audiobooks
One of the best parts of any vacation is unwinding with a good book or two (or three). For avid readers, I highly recommend Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited service. I have been a subscriber for years. For a low monthly fee, readers get unlimited access to titles in the “unlimited” catalog. The regular price is $9.99 per month, but on Prime Day, you can save up to 40% on a prepaid membership.
Not sure if Kindle Unlimited is right for you… or do you just want to give it a try during your vacation? You can also sign up for a 30-day free trial.
Would you rather listen to your books during your flight to your departure port? Amazon’s Audible audiobook service has you covered. You can choose from a discounted prepaid membership or a 2-download free trial.
